Granny’s knitwear are handmade with love and great knowledge by retired french grandmothers, knitting at home and at their own pace. Parts of larger products are made with a single stitch (eg blankets or palysuits) and are sometimes made using an artisan knitting machine but still using traditional methods..
mamy factory knits are made from luxury and natural yarns yarns(wool, alpaca, cotton, cashmere, silk ...) mainly from French woolen mills located in Burgundy, in the Creuse (both regions are in the center of France) and in the Nord (a region situated in the north of France).
Only soft yarns are used -no scratchy wool! – for the most sensitive babies.
